First Aid At Work
All employers in the UK have a legal obligation to make first aid
provision for their employees. This course is ideal for those who
are going to be a nominated First Aider in the workplace. This three
day course meets the statutory requirements of the Health &
Safety Executive. Candidates must be of a working age and intend
to practice first aid in the workplace during the validity of the
certificate.
For all our courses we have a reminder system in place for your convenience to let you know when your
certificate is due for renewal.
The course duration is 3 days and a certificate of competence lasting
three years and HSE approved will be awarded on successful completion
of the course.
Requalification (First Aid at Work)
This is a refresher course for current First Aiders who hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate.
Evidence of this certificate will be required on commencement.
A Requalification course can be taken up to 3 months before and within 28 days after the current certificate expires. The new
certificate will be dated from the expiry date. (See new legislation)
The course duration is 2 days and a certificate of competence lasting three years and HSE approved will
be awarded on successful completion of the course.
These courses involve practical assessments and students may be required to carry
out some home study.

Annual Refresher Training
Due to the wealth of evidence on the severity of 'first aid skill
fade', the HSE now recommend that all First Aiders attend annual
